The AI assistant that already knows you.

Doppel learns how you write and remembers your work, so every draft starts sounding like you, not like a generic AI. It runs on your machine, and nothing sends unless you set it up to.

The problem

Every day, you start from zero.

  • You rewrite the same kind of email for the tenth time.
  • You dig through old notes to reconstruct what you already knew.
  • You explain the same project to an AI that has never met you.
  • You paste in context your assistant should have remembered.

Your AI shouldn't make you start over every morning.

The vision

What if it already knew you?

Your writing voice. Your projects. Your meetings. Your priorities. Doppel holds the context, so you stop re-explaining yourself and start from almost-finished.

Meet Doppel

Not another chatbot. Not another assistant. A second version of you.

Doppel is your digital twin: an assistant calibrated to how you actually write and work, that keeps learning every time you correct it. The technology is the mechanism. The point is your time back.

How it works

Three steps to an assistant that sounds like you.

Teach

Answer a short interview, share writing you're proud of, and connect email if you want. Doppel builds a profile of how you communicate.

Customize

Tune its personality (how formal, how direct, how warm) and set the things it should never do.

Delegate the busywork

Hand it the drafting, summarizing, and prep. You review and approve every time, unless you deliberately switch that off for someone.

What it does

Less busywork, in your own voice.

Draft in your voice

Emails and messages that read like you wrote them, with dials for length, formality, and directness.

Summarize long documents

PDFs, Word files, and slide decks turned into a short, cited summary in seconds.

Prep for meetings

Record or import a meeting and get a transcript plus a structured debrief with action items.

Remember your conversations

Persistent memory of what you've discussed, so you never have to re-explain the context.

Search your own knowledge

Index your files and folders, then ask questions and get answers grounded in your documents, with citations.

Answer with live sources

Ask a question and get an answer backed by current web results (bring your own search key).

Why Doppel

You already know what ChatGPT is. Here's the difference.

Trust

Yours. On your machine. Under your control.

Local-first

Your profile, memory, and notes live in a database on your disk. There is no Doppel account, and no server of ours holds your content.

Cloud only when you choose

Use a local model for free, or bring your own API key for a cloud one. Either way it's your call, per task.

Acts when you say so

Every email and message is a draft until you approve it, and sending is switched off by default. Unattended replies exist for Teams, off unless you turn them on for a named person.

Doppel is a Windows desktop application published by OnlyBrutus LLC. It drafts emails, messages, and replies in your own writing voice, and can connect to Gmail or Outlook to triage your inbox and prepare replies for your approval. It never sends an email without your explicit approval. See the Privacy Notice for exactly what data exists, where it lives, and the narrow, user-initiated cases where anything leaves your device.
