Support
Doppel is built and supported by OnlyBrutus LLC.
Contact
Email: support@cloneme.today
We aim to respond within a few business days. Please include the app version (Settings → Release Notes shows it) and, for bugs, what you were doing when the problem occurred.
Reporting a bug
- Doppel keeps a small local error log (it never contains message content, email bodies, or keys). Attaching relevant lines from it helps a lot.
- Never include API keys, passwords, or email content in a support message.
Privacy questions and data requests
What Doppel stores about your work — your profile, writing samples, chat history, meetings, documents — lives on your own machine and never reaches us. The Privacy Notice explains how to delete it on your device and disconnect any linked account.
Three things about you can exist on our side:
- Your beta-key request. If you requested a beta key, the email address you entered is stored in our licensing database (Cloudflare D1) alongside the key’s identifier, so a key can be matched to the request that produced it. It is not used for marketing, not added to any mailing list, and not shared. We do not delete the record automatically when an unredeemed key expires.
- Any bug report you sent. The in-app feedback form sends what you typed, the contact address recorded when you activated, your key’s identifier (a report is accepted only if it matches an issued key), and — unless you switched the diagnostics toggle off — the app version, engine state, and a redacted tail of your local error log. Reports are archived and emailed to this support address and are not deleted on a schedule; a short-lived rate-limit counter (key identifier plus date) also exists while it counts.
- Any email you sent us. Including the beta opt-in form on
this site, which is a plain
mailto:handoff composed in your own mail client — so your address sits in our inbox like any other correspondence.
To have any of these disclosed, corrected, or deleted, email us at the address above from the address in question, and say which you want. Deleting a licensing record does not disable a key you have already activated — activation is verified on your own machine. One side effect to know about: the in-app bug reporter checks your key against that same licensing database before accepting a report, so deleting the record also switches off your ability to file bug reports from inside the app.
Managing connected accounts
- Google: review or revoke Doppel’s access at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- Microsoft: review or revoke access at account.live.com/consent/Manage (personal) or via your organization’s My Apps portal (work/school).
- Disconnecting inside Doppel (Settings → Integrations) removes the stored tokens from your device’s keychain immediately.
